Materials Needed for 1 Pinecone: 1 - 3” Styrofoam Egg Package of Common Pins 1 Spool Gold or Silver Trim (#8103) or 1 Spool Chenille Caramel or Wine Trim (#9391) 1 Spool Jacquard Trim (#10860) for Bow and Hanger 1 Twist Tie Beginning at the narrow end of your egg (pine cone shape), start pinning the trim in a continuous rotation, pinning in place as you move toward the top of the egg. Assemble a bow leaving approximately 10” of the ribbon for a hanger, see instructions below. Fasten bow and hanger to the top of the finished Pinecone with a common pin. |

Materials Needed for 1 Ornament: 1 - 3” Styrofoam Ball Your Favorite Photo 1 Package of Sequin Pins 1 Spool of Gold or White Iris Trim (#10424) 1 Spool of Matching Trim or Jacquard Ribbon (#10860) for Bow and Hanger Craft Knife 1 Twist Tie Cut Styrofoam in half, reserving second half for your next Photo Ornament. Starting at the top edge of the rounded side of the ball, begin pinning trim, continuing in a circular motion until you reach the middle of the rounded side. Then pin your favorite photo to the flat side of the ball. Pin trim around the outer edge of the photo. Assemble your ribbon bow, leaving 10” for a hanger, see instructions below. Fasten to top of finished Photo Ornament with a sequin pin. Bow and Hanger Instructions Cut a 10" piece for the hanger loop. Make a loop by overlapping the ends 1/2" and pin to the top of the ornament. With remaining length of ribbon, begin with one end making a 3" loop on one side of your thumb. Make another loop on the other side of your thumb. Continue making loops until the desired fullness or end of the ribbon is reached. Secure with a twist tie. Use the tail end to overlap and cover the twist tie and trim end. Pin the bow over the hanger loop. Add glue to the pin for a more secure hold. |
