
1968:Novtex began manufacturing crocheted knitted trimmings in Long Island, New York.

1976:The present owner, Daniel R. Bird, purchased the company and relocated to North Adams, Massachussetts.

1977:The Novtex Factory Outlet opened to offer craft related merchandise as well as products to craft consumers.

1989: NOVTEX purchased Emanuel Roth Company, a New Jersey lace wholesaler - converter, to present high quality embroideries, allovers, lace embellishments and trims to the wedding and craft home sew markets.

1998: NOVTEX relocated to a new, modern77,000 square fppt manufacturing facility where its product is manufactured and shipped to the retailers, manufacturers and distributors who comprise most of the customer base.

2001: In the fall of 2001, Heritage Trimming of Suncook,
New Hampshire sold its business to NOVTEX. HERITAGE TRIMMING was founded in New Hampshire in 1902 where it produced
the finest jacquard narrow fabrics and other trimmings for dress designers, home decorators, home sewers and crafters.
This combination of companies broadens the products both companies can offer to the retail community. The integration of
the two companies provides an extraordinary mix of product development, marketing, merchandising and sales. Both NOVTEX and
HERITAGE offer a good product synergy and have similar history as manufacturers, marketing and merchandising uniquely designed high quality products.
